BRIGHT - THE LEARNING CENTER, An NGO for Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) developmental Delays is Recognised Under Govt of Tamilnadu with Recognition Number 403/2013.

BRIGHT is supported by its parent body Manickam Valliammal Educational and Charitable Trust.

BRIGHT is committed and works for special needs to children with a motto of "Building a Brighter Tomorrow and Stepping Up in Life".

Mr.M.Palani (Founder of BRIGHT)

He has served the state medical services departments over 4 decades all over tamilnadu.

He educated all his daughters in the rehabilitation sciences.

He always wanted his family members to serve the special needs population and their families & hence in the fond memory of his parents Mr.Manickam and Mrs.Valliammal and he runs the trust in the name of Manickam Valliammal Educational and Charitable Trust.

Ms.Akila Palani

Daughter of Mr.Palani is an Audiologist and speech Language pathologist & also a Hanen certified Speech Language Pathologist, canada, experienced in the field for more than 13 years. Currently undergoing Ph.D. in the area of Disability and also has research experience by presenting scientific papers at National and International conferences. She addresses and conducts many seminars and workshops for Parents, Teachers and Professionals. Her therapeutic intervention has led many children to achieve their speech and a near normal life. She has also bagged the "Aishwariyam Excellence Best Speech Therapist award" in 2004.

Ms.Devi Palani

Ms. Devi Palani is an early childhood educator, a psychologist and experienced in the field of Rehabilitation for the past 10 years. Her hands on experience are with children with Delayed Developmental milestones, ADHD, Dyslexia and hearing impairments. In her clinical experience with children with delays, she has integrated many children to normal mainstream schooling.

Ms.Pavithra Palani

Ms. Pavithra Palani, Special and Remedial Educator, works in the area of Developmental Disabilities and more closely with Learning disability Children. Her planning and execution of the early intervention program has led many of her students to get integrated into mainstream schooling. She is the Reciepient of "The Helen-Keller Best special educator Award "in 2012 for successfully integrating 43 children into Mainstream.
