Paediatric Physical Therapy
Our center offers physical therapy as a part of the on-demand therapies required by our special school students. Under this therapy, we manage developmental, congenital neuromuscular, and acquired disorders.
BRIGHT Physiotherapy goalsÂ
- To improve gross motor skills
- To improve fine motor skills
- To improve range of motion, strength, and endurance
- To improve the child’s posture
- To improve mobility and balance
- To help the child be independent in activities in daily life
Who requires physical therapy?
As mentioned above, it is an on-demand therapy. Unlike remedial or speech therapy, not all children require physical therapy. Our physiotherapist would assess the child under different criteria to determine whether the child needs the treatment and the degree of intervention required.
Pediatric physiotherapy is essential for children with
- Developmental delay
- Cerebral Palsy
- Down Syndrome
- Spina Bifida
- Spinal muscular atrophy
- Traumatic head injuries

What should parents do?
Our physiotherapist offers end-to-end therapies and exercises for the child. However, training a few minutes daily is insufficient for swift development. Thus, we always recommend parents teach their children at home.Â
To facilitate better home training, we offer home program education to parents. It includes
- Handling and positioning the child at home
- Home exercises
- Advice regarding corrective footwear, assistive aids, equipment, and more
- Referral to other medical professionals (if necessary)
