Who needs BRIGHT?
BRIGHT – The Learning Center is not an alternative to mainstream school. It is a stepping ladder to develop your kid to become ready for mainstream schools and colleges.
BRIGHT is the right path for kids with
- Developmental delays
- Neurological developmental disorders like autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, ADD, and others.
- Clinically significant low concentration or attention
- IQ-related delays/disorders
- Speech issues like articulation problems, receptive disorders, speech delay, resonance disorder, stuttering, and others.
- Hearing impairment
- Progression delay caused by facial paralysis, brain disorder, trauma, MS, and others.
How BRIGHT is different?
- BRIGHT-The Learning Center offers a tailored approach to each child. Every child is unique, and the syllabus, therapy plans, developmental goals, and others vary based on their skill set. There is no one-size-fits-all method.
- We offer all-inclusive therapy solutions from physiotherapy to behaviour therapy for all our school children and children who come for therapies only.
- Open-space therapy solution –Â Unlike most therapy centers and special schools, our campus has an open-space philosophy. Any parent is welcome to visit and take part in the therapy sessions. We prefer parents to be a part of our therapies and programs.
- Access to our customized study materials – We recommend parents consistently train children at home. Thus, all parents are welcome to access our customized study materials created for their children. We prefer to educate and equip the parents as much as possible.
- Goals and path setting –Â We set short-term and long-term goals for our children and share the same with the parents. The format or pattern of the goal depends on the child’s age, issue in hand, required milestones, and mainstream school’s requirements. We share these goals with our parents and review these goals every three months.
- In the case of our Bright Special School students, we carry out a yearly assessment schedule with analysis of all key areas like scholastic developments and non-scholastic developments.
- Specialized trainers only – Unlike most therapy centers, our school and therapy classes are conducted by certified and experienced special trainers. Our remedial programs are headed by Ms. Pavithra Palani, Certified Remedial Educator, and school principal. Speech and Language Pathologist Dr. Akila Palani handles the speech therapy classes. Group therapies are conducted by certified trainers only.Â
- Beyond one-on-one training –Â You are more interested in giving full attention to your child. However, beyond that, we offer vacation group sessions, group therapies, play therapy, and celebrate festivals together to improve socialization.
- We offer Parent support and guidance with the help of our staff, peer parents, and parents of children who have moved on to mainstream schools or are currently in college/work.
- Our therapists are available via Whatsapp throughout the day to help you with home programs, deal with any emergency queries, and more.
- We are open for teletherapies too. We meet with the kids via Google Meet and train them with customized digital resources similar to our offline classes.Â
OUR MOTTO & VISION
OUR MOTTO & VISION
BRIGHT started in 2004 with a Vision and Motto of “BUILDING a BRIGHTER TOMORROW” for all children with difficulties and delays. From its inception, BRIGHT has catered to children’s needs by providing Speech therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Yoga and naturopathy, Relationship Development Intervention, & Remedial Education. All these therapies are given using various ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis), Integrating the senses via Auditory training, Listening perception, and through Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetics, and tactile modes.
We focus both on therapeutic intervention & education for all the early intervention children so that when they are more ready, we integrate them into mainstream schooling/ or make the student go through their education up to X and XII standards under NIOS open schooling.
Meet The Change Drivers
Mr. M. Palani & Mrs. P. Saraswathi
